The Commercial Director APAC is a critical senior leadership role responsible for leading and growing Keyloop's footprint across Asia. This person will be the senior figurehead for APAC, responsible for structuring and scaling the sales organization and driving new business across the region. They will balance bringing structure, consistent growth, and strong leadership to the sales organization, with deep experience within the automotive and motor vehicle manufacturing sectors in Asia.

This individual should also have a strong understanding of potential opportunities within various geographical regions to build and implement multiple strategies across Keyloop's target segments.

The role reports directly to the RVP UKI & APAC and will oversee an established sales team in APAC, consisting of 3 employees across sales, supported by a virtual pre-sales team across multiple countries including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea. The position is based in Singapore with travel as needed.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Account Executives across Keyloop’s solution offerings.
  • Develop the sales team’s capabilities and performance, implementing effective headcount and succession plans.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the market, customers, and competitive landscape to provide strategic direction.
  • Formulate and execute growth strategies focusing on key OEM relationships in the region to expand product and solution sales opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to identify and close sales opportunities across APAC in line with the Keyloop Way of Selling.
  • Provide strong leadership to maximize performance in revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures for sound commercial management.
  • Create a performance-oriented culture characterized by energy and achievement.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, ensuring all sales propositions are supported by strong business cases aligned with clients’ goals.
  • Be a key member of the regional leadership team, a high-profile and mission-critical role.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within internal teams.
  • Lead by example through direct involvement in high-profile sales pitches, Tier 1 accounts, and market development at the highest levels.
Required Experience
  • Dynamic, visionary leader capable of hiring, managing, coaching, and mentoring a sales team to deliver results.
  • Knowledge, experience, and a network within the Automotive industry across APAC.
  • Ability to engage at the CXO level and establish credibility through compelling presentations of Keyloop’s value proposition.
  • Regional expertise and understanding of the APAC automotive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence and resilience to interact with international leadership.
  • Background in the automotive industry, whether from SaaS, OEM, or software companies.
  • Proven success in generating revenue through subscription-based SaaS solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
