Job Description – Commercial cum Procurement Executive

Responsibilities

• Able to read and understand contract document, terms and conditions
• Review technical specifications & drawings
• Prepare tender proposal and contract document
• Cost estimation for repair vessels, Ships and marine system, preferable with Architectural and HVAC system background
• Liaising with yard production and engineering
• Sourcing external resources and suppliers / vendors
• Negotiation with suppliers and vendors
• Fluent communication with clients
• On-site inspection for potential variation orders
• Monitoring project costing
• Collection / compilation of work done reports and work progress reports from production
• Capturing and raising of variation orders
• Billing function
• Provide project support and coordination

Work Experience

• Must have minimum 5 years of work experience in Marine, Oil & Gas and relevant industry. Work in greenfield projects in the Upstream Oil and Gas sector and possess a good understanding of project phases, milestones, deliverables, internal and external interfaces.
• Prepared architectural philosophies and specifications for Architectural and HVAC systems for concept, FEED and detail engineering projects as necessary.
• Experience in commercial, billing and estimation function in Commercial/Business department.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marine and offshore Industry.
• Candidates from ITE with internship in Marine industry, good attitude without working experience will be acceptable – for on-the-job training.
• Those possessing ITE Certificate with good attitude will be considered.
• Possess Microsoft certification and IT literate.
• Proven experience in providing technical support in a corporate IT environment.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
