Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU is seeking an in‑house lawyer focused on commercial contracting, procurement, corporate governance and regulatory matters. The role partners with procurement, finance, HR, IT and project teams to provide practical, business‑oriented legal guidance.

The candidate will draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs and vendor contracts, while supporting contract risk assessment and dispute avoidance in offshore, onshore, EPC/EPCI and energy projects.

Qualifications

• JD/LLB from an accredited institution
• Admitted to practice in a common law jurisdiction (Singapore preferred)
• Minimum 3 years in commercial contracts, corporate law, governance or project matters
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Good English communication for contracts and reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal support to procurement, supply chain and project teams
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs and vendor contracts
• Support contract risk assessment, notices, change orders and claims
• Coordinate with external counsel on arbitration, litigation or other disputes
• Advise on governance, regulatory filings and internal policy implementation
