Job summary

A financial services company based in Singapore is seeking a Financial Analyst to support reporting, analysis, and system setup. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience in business analytics. Responsibilities include analyzing departmental reports and performing feasibility studies. The position offers a competitive salary in the range of S$4,000.00 – S$5,000.00.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in Commercial/Business Analytics roles preferred.
• Ability to analyze demand trends and reason for variations.
• Good understanding of working with large data sets.

Job description

• Analyse and reporting of monthly departmental reports (actual vs budget) and highlight any area of improvement.

• Assist in the annual revenue and projection cycles.

• Performing costing and pricing for the services/programs/new initiatives.

• Provide financial analytics support for valued based initiatives.

• To participate in understanding system relationship, system structure and end-to-end flow.

• To assist in system setup including performing UAT.

• To perform feasibility analysis, cost benefit analysis and to build scenarios relating to new/existing projects or programs.

• Any adhoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/ Finance/Business Analytics or in related fields

• 1-2 years’ experience in Commercial/Business Analytics roles preferred

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with, influence and drive consensus with different stakeholders

• Ability to deep dive into voluminous data and derive insights through consolidation, drill downs and pattern recognition

• Proactive in learning, creating, and leveraging new processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Good understanding on the demand trend and analyse reason for variation
