Lewe Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a procurement officer to manage purchasing tasks. The role involves liaising with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, maintaining documentation, and ensuring inventory sufficiency. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in commercial administration and hold an ITE Diploma. Strong multitasking and organizational skills are essential.
Job Descriptions and Requirements
1) Review purchase and material requisition, and issue purchase orders to supplier.
2) Liaise with suppliers / vendors to get quotation.
3) Perform all general administrative tasks.
4) Able to multitask and handle ad-hoc tasks.
5) Ensure documentations and filings are done in properly manner.
6) Respond to customer & supplier inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations
7) Perform buying duties when necessary
8) Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary
9) Contact suppliers in order to schedule/ expedite deliveries & to resolve shortages, missed/late deliveries & other problems
10) Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology & specifications
11) Prepare, maintain, & review purchasing files, reports & price lists
12) Compare prices, specifications & delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
13) Sourcing, selecting & negotiation with supplier to constantly strive for best price, delivery and payment term
14) Monitor & expedite outstanding order & delivery schedule
15) Liaise & communicate extensively with supplier on procurement matter
16) Liaise with freight forwarder on shipping & transporter matter with regards to import shipment
17) Liaise with technical department for preparation of tender and quotation
18) 1 Year experience in Commercial & Sales Administration
19) Minimun qualifications : ITE Diploma
