Job Type: 12 Months contract

Job Title: Command Centre Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Command Centre Engineer to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ITIL practices and hands-on experience in incident monitoring and management. This role involves working in a 24x7 Command Centre environment ensuring high availability and quick resolution of IT infrastructure issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor IT systems, networks, and services using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar platforms.
  • Handle and escalate critical incidents following ITIL incident management practices.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate with support teams for resolution.
  • Track, document, and update incidents in the ticketing system (ServiceNow, BMC, etc.).
  • Generate and review daily system health and performance reports.
  • Participate in shift rotations including nights/weekends as required.
  • Ensure timely communication and status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT operations or command centre/NOC environments.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-based Incident Management.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and ticketing tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and 24x7 operational environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
