Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in machinery assembly, wiring, generator testing, gas engine operation.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety, health, and environmental standards is preferable.

Job description

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Focus on ensuring the proper installation of gas/diesel generators, commissioning tests, and operation of gas generator systems with related equipment such as automatic transfer switches, batteries, and load bank testing.
  • Ensure that all systems, components, and equipment of a project are installed, tested, and fully operational before handover to the customer.
  • Experience with testing all equipment to ensure it functions according to customer requirements.
  • Perform commissioning witness tests with the customer, record all test results, analyze test data, and handle documentation and submission.
  • Ensure the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary plant performance, in accordance with project schedules.
  • Prepare commissioning test records and obtain customer acceptance upon completion.
  • Diploma or Nitec certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic engineering (preferable).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in machinery assembly, wiring, generator testing, gas engine operation (preferable), and commissioning.
  • Understanding of gas engines/diesel engines, generators, and wiring is advantageous.

Knowledge of workplace safety, health, and environmental standards is preferable.
