Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia is offering a full-time internship for students passionate about materials science and semiconductor manufacturing. You will work under engineers to perform data collection, analyze results, and contribute to the development of the PVD product.

You will engage in PVD process optimization, characterize hardware components, and assist with root cause analysis of moderately complex issues, ensuring safety guidelines are followed while learning in a leading global

Qualifications

• Experience with data collection and analysis for complex experiments.
• Familiarity with PVD processes and metal film properties.
• Ability to work under engineer guidance to troubleshoot problems and perform RCA.

Responsibilities

• With engineer’s guidance, perform data collection and analyze results for PVD product development.
• Conduct PVD process optimization and measure metal film properties, organize data/reports for review.
• Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems within safety guidelines; assist in troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis.

• With engineer’s guidance to perform, collect data and analyze on unusually complex experiments to develop the physical vapor deposition (PVD) product.
• Job scope including a) PVD process optimization & measure metal film properties, organize data/reports for review; b) Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems, within safety guidelines; c) With engineer’s guidance, involve in troubleshooting moderately complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve moderately difficult process engineering issues
