Applied Materials South East Asia is seeking an intern/student to support semiconductor process engineering in Singapore. You will collect data, analyze experiments, and help optimize degas, preclean and PVD chamber processes under engineer guidance.

The role emphasizes safety, data reporting, and hands-on hardware characterization while building practical skills in a leading global materials science company.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing data from experiments and producing reports.
• Ability to optimize processes and measure film properties.
• Familiarity with problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Work safely with complex systems under guidance.

• With engineer’s guidance to perform, collect data and analyze on unusually complex experiments to develop the degas, preclean and PVD chambers.
• Job scope including
• Process optimization & measure film properties, organize data/reports for review;
• Perform hardware characterization on moderately difficult systems, within safety guidelines;
• With engineer’s guidance, involve in troubleshooting moderately complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis and resolve moderately difficult process engineering issues
