Job summary

The role focuses on guiding students through the college process, including advising, essay development, and application submissions, while engaging families throughout the year.

In this position, you will integrate social-emotional learning with college counseling, collaborating with the Personal Academic Counseling team, and pursuing ongoing professional growth

Responsibilities

• Advise students, their parents, and the SAS community about the college admission process and timelines.
• Counsel and support students in researching colleges, drafting essays, and completing applications.
• Write letters of recommendation and school reports to support college applications.
• Meet with students and parents throughout the school year.
• Coordinate college visits and NCAA/National Merit materials as needed.
