Coding Teachers / Trainers (Entry Level are welcome) #NJH #Robotics #Coding

My client is a fast-growing Educational Institution teaching Robotics/AI & Coding. They are seeking a few passionate and experienced (or entry level) Teachers / Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a background in teaching (coaching) and interest / capability to pick up coding on the job (Training provided), exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high teaching standards. As a Coding Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality coding education.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance: Establish and implement a robust system to regularly assess and maintain instructor teaching quality. This includes conducting classroom observations, reviewing learners' feedback, and analyzing teaching outcomes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and enforce standards for instructional excellence.
2. Assessment: Evaluate learners' performance through a variety of methods, including assessments, projects, and coding exercises. Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help learners improve and succeed. Ensure assessment methods are fair, consistent, and aligned with learning objectives.
3. SOP for Communication with Parents: Develop and implement SOPs to train instructors on how to effectively communicate with parents. This includes guidelines on discussing learners' progress, addressing concerns, and providing updates in a professional and supportive manner.
4. Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks such as creating and maintaining class schedules, generating reports on learners' progress and instructor performance, and keeping accurate records of learners' enrollment and attendance. Ensure all administrative processes are efficient and support the smooth operation of the educational program.

Requirements:

1. Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
2. Experience in teaching, coaching or tutoring of primary &/or secondary school children
3. Good software programming skills or background; IT Savvy
4. For those without any programming background, must be willing to pick up coding and learn new skills
5. Team player, good with children, passion for people
6. Good communications & interpersonal skills
7. Location: Punggol, PLQ/Singpost Centre, Novena or Tampines Hub
