Job summary

A leading provider of IT Professional Services is seeking a System Analyst in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in System Analysis, particularly in the Cards Functional Domain. Key responsibilities include conducting requirement analysis, preparing technical documents, and supporting integration and testing. Indispensable skills include in-depth knowledge of CICS COBOL and systems integration. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Qualifications

• In-depth technical skills in COBOL batch, JCLs, and mainframe utilities.

Job description

Responsibilities:

- responsible for requirement analysis, effort estimation, application solution design for Cards Core Issuing and acquiring application processes

- responsible to lead discussion with business and IT teams, prepare technical requirements/solution traceability, functional design, and works closely with functional Business Analyst, Architects, and end-users in the development & enhancement of applications

- prepare functional solution document and present to stakeholders to get sign-off

- work with technical teams and prepare or review technical interface specifications

- responsible to review detailed technical design, codes and test strategies, test results and is also responsible for defect triaging

- guide testers/users in cards parameter setup for the new business (new org, product, pricing, etc)

- guide testers/users in the end-to-end reconciliation process

- support system integration, user acceptance, regression/performance testing - work closely with testers and business users to ensure coverage of critical and important functions

- provide post-implementation support

- identify and raise/escalate risks to the project/processes

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• have at least a minimum of 8+ years of System Analysis work and equivalent Cards Functional Domain experience, cards payment networks, preferably with at least 8+ years of working experiences in Cardlink/Vision Plus

Essential:

• You must be the experienced developer, with good experience in system integration/interfacing.

• You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery.

• Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.

• Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For new system build-up, you may need to environment support during SIT/UAT.

• You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.

• You will be expected to work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that is fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.

• Vendor systems: VisionPlus , Card Link, Card Pac etc.

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

• in-depth technical skills in CICS COBOL. COBOL batch, JCLs, Easytrieve, VSAM, JCL, OPC and other mainframe utilities

• good communication skills
