Job summary

JTC Corporation is seeking an experienced professional to drive end-to-end coastal protection infrastructure projects in Singapore’s industrial areas, from concept to completion. You will secure approvals and funding, plan solutions based on site conditions, and analyse soil, hydrodynamics, flood modelling, and environmental data.

You will lead consultants, oversee contractor appointments, and collaborate with industries and government agencies to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality

Qualifications

• Background in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in drainage design, land reclamation, environmental impact assessment, hydrodynamic modelling, and marine structure works would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coastal protection projects from concept development through to completion.
• Secure approvals and funding from relevant government agencies.
• Plan and develop coastal protection solutions based on site conditions and technical assessment.
• Analyse soil conditions, hydrodynamics and meteorological-oceanographic data, flood modelling results, and environmental impact assessments.
• Manage consultants in the development of engineering designs and oversee appointment of contractors for project implementation.
• Work with industries and government agencies to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Anticipate and resolve potential construction-related issues and contractual disputes.
