Job summary

Aurora Asia Pacific is hiring a CNC Turn-Mill Machinist for oil and gas components at Tuas, Singapore. The role involves operating and setting up CNC Turn‑Mill machines, reading drawings, and ensuring precision tolerances are met. Five-day week with various allowances and OT pay.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of CNC Turn‑Mill experience, be able to read drawings, and work independently. Overtime may be required; good attendance and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC Turn-Mill / CNC machining.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerances.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC Turn-Mill machines to produce oil & gas components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, threading and related machining operations.
• Set cutting tools, workpieces and machining parameters.
• Conduct dimensional inspection using vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements.
• Maintain tool setup and machine housekeeping.
• Follow production schedules and safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC Turn-Mill machines to manufacture precision oil & gas components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Perform turning, milling, drilling, threading and other machining operations.
• Set cutting tools, workpieces and machine parameters.
• Conduct dimensional inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
• Ensure machined parts meet required quality and tolerance standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Follow production schedules, safety procedures and company quality requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of relevant CNC Turn-Mill / CNC machining experience.
• Experience in CNC turning and milling operations.
• Able to read engineering drawings and understand machining tolerances.
• Familiar with CNC machine setup, tooling and cutting parameters.
• Able to use precision measuring instruments.
• Experience in oil & gas or precision engineering industry will be an advantage.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Responsible, hardworking and able to work independently.
