Job summary
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC turning machines for precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, a relevant diploma, and strong attention to detail. Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical diagrams, and work orders.
- Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
- Perform machine offsets and minor program edits (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controls).
- Conduct in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and perform basic maintenance on machines.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and adhere to workplace safety and 5S practices.
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC turning machines in a manufacturing environment.
- NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Familiar with precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Knowledge of CNC control systems (Fanuc preferred).
- Good team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Willing to work rotating shifts or overtime, if required.
