CNC PROGRAMMER
(Furniture Manufacturing)
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer drawings to our production drawing.
- Develop new CNC programs to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding milling for production runs.
- Improve CNC program efficiency by optimizing tool paths and reducing cycle times.
- Perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications.
- Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production, quality control and other personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Continually maintain the CNC programming database.
Job Requirements:
- Familiar with machining process of CNC Milling and Rover Machining Centre.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably specializing in wood furniture manufacturing/production operations or equivalent.
