Job summary

TECHCOM TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a CNC Milling Technician to set up and run milling machines, select tooling, and verify parts against drawings. You will prove out programs, adjust cycle times, and ensure quality through precise offsets and measurements.

The role requires reading engineering drawings with GD&T, using measuring tools, and performing in-process inspections to maintain high standards. Routine maintenance and housekeeping are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up CNC milling machines and select tooling.
• Ability to read GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with measuring tools (verniers, micrometers) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling machines including tooling, fixtures, and work offsets.
• Load and prove out CNC programs and edit to improve cycle times and quality.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and parameters for different materials.
• Set work offsets, tool offsets, and datum points accurately.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve machining or tooling issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ensure all work meets drawings, tolerances, and quality.
