Job summary

TECHCOM Technology PTE. LTD. invites applications for a CNC Milling Technician responsible for setting up machines, tooling, fixtures and work offsets to produce precise parts.

You will load and prove out CNC programs, select cutting tools, read engineering drawings with GD&T, perform first-off inspections and ensure ongoing quality through in-process checks and routine maintenance.

This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced Singapore manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CNC milling processes (3-, 4- or 5-axis as required).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Competence with measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, bore gauges; CMM preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling machines, tooling, fixtures and offsets.
• Load and prove out CNC programs and edit to improve cycle times and quality.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and parameters for different materials.
• Set work offsets, tool offsets and datum points accurately.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve machining or tooling issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ensure all work meets engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality.
