Job summary

Shine Precision Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines, read drawings and prepare fixtures and tooling.

You will write simple programs for CNC milling, perform in-process inspection, ensure efficient setup and quality, and maintain a clean working environment. Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years of CNC experience preferred; night shift may be required.

Qualifications

• NITEC/ITE/Technical Certificate in Mechanical/Precision/Tool and Die Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 1–2 years of CNC machining experience in Precision Engineering.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in CNC routers is highly advantageous.
• May need to work night shift as required.
• Fresh graduates / No experience welcome to apply.
• Salary neg. depend on your experience and qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set up & operate CNC machines (milling/turning).
• Set up jigs, fixtures and tooling for machining processes.
• Write simple programs for CNC milling machines.
• Interpret technical drawings and understand drawing symbols.
• Familiar with machine cutting tools and cutting parameters.
• Perform in-process inspection and document results when necessary.
• Ensure efficient machine setup, run time and achieve required quality.
• Comply with company safety rules and maintain good housekeeping.
