Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd in Singapore East is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-performing team. You will develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve product quality, productivity, and efficiency, and participate in NPI, transfers, and engineering changes.

You will review designs for manufacturability, prepare CNC programs, BOMs, and routings, and support machine setup, process validation, and PFMEA. Strong collaboration with Production, Quality, and Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience in CNC machining, CAM programming, or process development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of DFM, Control Plans, or SPC is advantageous.
• Familiar with BOM creation, routing management, or ERP systems.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to improve product quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI), product transfer, and engineering change activities.
• Review product designs and provide recommendations to improve manufacturability, cost, and production efficiency.
• Prepare, update, and maintain CNC programs, engineering documentation, BOMs, and manufacturing routings.
• Support machine setup, process verification, and first article inspections to ensure smooth production.
• Support process validation, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues related to machining, tooling, product quality, and cycle time.
• Maintain engineering records, SOPs, inspection reports, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to achieve manufacturing and quality objectives.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and improvement projects as assigned.
