Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to perform machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a Higher Nitec or Nitec in Precision Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in a CNC Milling environment. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with quality standards and conducting inspections. Candidates must be team players and able to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Perform machining operation and work within specific requirements

• Read, interpret and review drawing and specifications

• Deburring works per specifications requirement

• Perform parts set-up, adjustment and measurements to ensure proper alignment of machine and parts

• Perform in-process dimensions inspection using CMM to ensure finished work piece meet drawing requirement

• Improve work method to increase efficiency, quality and reduce waste

• Keep equipment and work area clean and well organised at all time

• Ensure compliance to Quality standards , HSE policies and proper use of PPE

• Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec or Nitec in Precision Engineering or equivalent

• At least 2 years working experience in CNC Milling / Manufacturing environment

• Able to perform rotating shifts

• A good team player
