Job description

Information:

• Salary range: $1800 - $2800

• Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8am to 5pm, Sat – 8am to 12pm

Responsibilities:

• Plan machining by study work orders, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, GD&T
• Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions using G-Code including zero and reference points
• Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches;
• Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting 3/4-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.
• Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
• Maintains specifications, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
• Documents actions by completing production and quality report.

Requirements:

• ITE/Diploma in Precision/Mechanical with 5 years of relevant experience
• Able to perform programming using fanuc controller
• Knowledge of measuring instruments; calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators/scales
• Understand geometric tolerancing interpretation
Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories
