Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Singapore to set up and operate 5-axis machines. You will read procedures, interpret blueprints, and perform basic troubleshooting while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a minimum NITEC in precision/aerospace/mechanical engineering and at least two years of CNC machining experience, preferably in aviation. Training is provided and shifts are permanent third shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Precision/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant CNC Machining experience, preferably in aviation.
• Training will be provided.
• Able to work permanent 3rd shift.
• Experience with EDM machining is a plus.
• Experience operating CMM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC 5-axis machines.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machines.
• Read and follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Interpret basic blueprints as required.
• Assess risk of activities and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain day-to-day 6S activities.
• Willing to work cross-functional areas.
• Comply with RTX Code of Ethics and Export regulations.
• Support EH&S, Quality & CORE activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
