Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced machinist to operate CNC Turning and Milling machines. This role requires interpreting mechanical drawings and maintaining high standards of housekeeping at the workstation. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil & gas or aerospace industry, along with an NTC2 qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in machining CNC turning or milling machines.
• Experience in the oil & gas/aerospace industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily setting up of machines.
• Operate CNC Turning/Milling machines.
• Maintain cleanliness at the workstation.

Skills

Interpreting mechanical drawings

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle daily setting up of machines
• Operating of CNC Turning / Milling machines
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
• Must have the knowledge on measuring instruments and ball gauges
• Able to perform simple programming will be an added advantage
• Keep up with the housekeeping requirements at the workstation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years experience in machining either CNC turning or milling machines in oil & gas / aerospace industry.
• Minimum NTC2 qualification
