Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan machining tasks by studying engineering drawings to understand dimensions and tolerances
• Program CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, and setting tools and parameters accurately
• Operate and manage CNC machine mechanisms to maintain efficient production
• Verify machine settings by measuring first-off parts and comparing them against drawings to ensure accuracy
• Maintain safe operation and handling of CNC machines at all times to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines to reduce downtime and extend machine lifespan
