A leading company in Singapore seeks a skilled CNC Machinist with a minimum of three years' experience in precision machining within the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will manage CNC operations, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations while suggesting process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of machining experience in CNC machining in the Precision/Metal/Aerospace industry.
• Able to perform rotating shifts (7.30am to 4.50pm or 7.30pm to 4.50am).

Responsibilities

• Set up jigs, fixtures, and tooling required for machining.
• Operate CNC Grinding, VTL, Milling, Turning machines.
• Perform in-process inspection of aerospace machined parts.

Job description

CNC Machinist

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up jigs, fixtures and tooling required for machining

• Operate CNC Grinding, VTL, Milling, Turning machine

• Perform in-process inspection of aerospace machined parts and document results

• Initiate and suggest continuous improvement ideas to improve process, productivity and quality on machines

• Perform TPMs

• Conduct in-process inspections using micrometres and gauges.

• Follow technical manuals and work instructions for accurate machining.

• Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area

• Comply with company and safety rules and regulations

• Complete production paper work and systems transactions

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of machining experience in CNC machining experience in Precision / Metal / Aerospace industry

• Experience in Campbell 2000 & Okuma Grinder will be advantageous

• Able to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.

• Able to perform rotating shifts (7.30am to 4.50pm or 7.30pm to 4.50am)
