Job summary

THIRTEEN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY is assisting a design and system solutions company in Loyang, Singapore, seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to fabricate precision components. You will set up and run CNC mills and lathes, program at the control, and inspect parts to tight tolerances on the shop floor.

The role suits someone with hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings, select tooling, monitor feeds and speeds, and maintain records for quality

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CNC machining (milling, turning, 3 to 5 axis).
• Able to read technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of materials such as steel, aluminum, titanium, and composites.
• Experience handling precision machined parts.
• Physically fit and willing to do hands-on manual work.

Responsibilities

• Mount fixtures, install tooling, set offsets, and prepare machines for production runs.
• Write and edit G-code programs at the control.
• Run CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centres, monitor feeds, speeds, and coolant systems.
• Identify and correct issues such as chatter, tool breakage, dimensional drift, or poor surface finish.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances; maintain records; perform preventive checks on lubrication, coolant, backlash, belts, and tool changers.

Role Overview

Our client, a design and system solutions company serving aerospace and semiconductor clients, is looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to fabricate precision components and parts at their worksite. You'll set up and run CNC machines, program at the control, and inspect finished parts to tight tolerances. The role suits an experienced, detail-focused machinist who takes pride in precision work and can spot and fix issues on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

Machine setup & programming
