CNC Leader

Summary:

• Support production activities and ensure adherence to CNC machining process work instructions.
• Lead CNC machinists to meet output and quality requirements.
• Assist Production Supervisor in achieving productivity and cycle time targets.
• Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and ensure good quality output
• Provide minor troubleshooting and technical support
• Lead CNC machinists to meet cycle time targets
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives
• Support production planning and scheduling
• Assign tasks and guide CNC machinists
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Provide feedback and suggest improvements
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on CNC machines
• Work with FA Engineer on CNC machining projects
• Test and confirm new CNC programs from Engineering team

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering (Manufacturing/Precision/CNC Programming and CAD/CAM)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a production environment
• Ability to perform rotating and weekends shift work if job is urgent.
• Knowledge of rubber press molding and CNC machining
• Ability to support CNC Engineer and provide technical guidance
• Working knowledge of production flow control and machining methods
• Team player with a positive attitude towards work challenges
• Experience with Funac programming (Master Cam programming a plus)
• Experience with robotic automation in CNC processes
• Experience with automation and robotics in machining environments
