The CNC Lathe Setter/Operator operates and maintains CNC lathe machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce components based on technical drawings.
Load raw materials and tools into machines and perform necessary calibrations.
Monitor machine operations, make tool offsets and adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances.
Perform regular quality checks using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Troubleshoot issues related to machining, tooling, and material inconsistencies.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and output targets.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC lathe/turning operator in a manufacturing environment.
