Job summary

Makino Asia Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced CNC controller engineer to design, develop, and test CNC controller software and hardware. You will select controllers, integrate them with diverse machine tools, and optimize motion control systems for precision machining.

The role requires hands-on NC cycles, Fanuc controller familiarity, and strong programming skills in C/C++/C#, with a focus on reliable, safe operation in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of CNC controller development, programming and integration.
• Experience with motion control, servo systems and feedback devices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++/C# and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test CNC controller software and hardware.
• Integrate CNC controllers with various machine tools and equipment.
• Develop and optimize motion control algorithms for precision machining.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CNC controller and machine performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
