Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with strong mechanical/electrical understanding.
• Experience with CMP equipment is preferred; familiarity with leading CMP tools is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CMP tool performance and analyze data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Lead troubleshooting, fault isolation, and rapid response to tool issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure high availability and stability.
• Support defect investigations and coordinate material review activities when needed.
• Collaborate with process, quality, production, facilities and supplier teams to improve tool reliability and line stability.
• Support new equipment evaluation, installation, qualification, and industrialization activities.
• Coordinate with facilities and suppliers during hook-up, installation, and commissioning.
• Drive hardware upgrades and OEE improvement initiatives for CMP equipment.
• Set up and maintain equipment monitoring systems and data libraries.
• Develop SOPs, preventive maintenance procedures, and operation standards.
• Train manufacturing operators to improve line competency and equipment handling.
• Manage spare parts inventory and stock planning to ensure availability within budget.
