Main responsibilities

1. Lead workshop with business lines contacts for clarification and understanding of requirements.
2. Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead’s help.
3. Prepare and present functional aspects of changes/evolutions to developers.
4. Support the technical development team in any functional aspects.
5. Organize and keep up to date detailed functional documentation.
6. Develop test strategies in coordination with the project manager / Business Analysts.
7. Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring.
8. Support and coordinate the User Acceptance Test.
9. Analyze and/or solve functional problems in coordination with developers.

Qualifications and Profile

Mandatory:

• At least 12 years of experience as a business analyst in a financial organization.
• Exposure to the Capital Markets system Summit or similar such as Murex, Calypso, Sophis, Front Arena, Kondor, Opics.
• Experience in Financial IRD products and Capital Market Back-Office environments focusing on Settlement, Accounting, Regulatory, Reconciliation.
• Thorough experience in functional testing and validation of development.
• Hands-on technical experience with Linux, scripting, data models, and SQL.

Good to have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both team members and management.
• Ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-cultural team members.
• Experience in Back Office systems (Summit, Calypso), Front-Office, or Market Risk.
• Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, SharePoint, Project, Visio, Jira, GIT.
• Understanding of UML.
