We are looking for an energetic, responsible andcommercially driven Club Manager to lead the day-to-day operations ofour fitness club.
The Club Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the club, including membership sales, member experience, staff management, facility standards and operational matters. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and taking ownership of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the club and ensure smooth running of all facilities and services.
- Lead and supervise the club team, including Sales Representatives and Personal Trainers.
- Drive membership sales and work towards the club's monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Monitor sales enquiries, leads, conversions, renewals and member retention.
- Ensure prospective members receive timely follow-up and a positive sales experience.
- Maintain a high standard of member service and handle member feedback, enquiries and complaints professionally.
- Build relationships with members and help develop a welcoming and positive gym community.
- Ensure the gym is clean, safe, presentable and well maintained at all times.
- Conduct regular checks of gym equipment and facilities and coordinate repairs or maintenance where required.
- Ensure staff and members comply with the club's policies, procedures and house rules.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance and daily work allocation.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching and performance management of club employees.
- Monitor access control, security, incidents and other operational matters.
- Assist with local marketing activities, promotions, events and community outreach.
- Work closely with Management on club performance, operational improvements and business development opportunities.
- Perform other reasonable duties required for the effective operation of the club.
Requirements
- Singaporean, PR or Malaysians only
- Prior experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, sales or another customer-facing environment is preferred.
- Supervisory or managerial experience will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Strong sales and customer-service mindset.
- Able to communicate confidently and professionally with members and staff.
- Self-motivated, responsible and comfortable taking ownership of problems.
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and administrative tools.
- Able to work flexible hours when required, including occasional weekends or public holidays.
- Interest in fitness and an active lifestyle is strongly preferred.
- Ability to speak conversional Mandarin is an advantage.
