Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, working with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable services.

The role includes networking, AD & DNS management, MSSQL database upkeep, and web hosting on Apache/Nginx. Strong Bash/Windows scripting plus Python/Java/JavaScript familiarity will support development teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cloud/networking experience.
• Expertise with AWS resources, including Route 53 DNS management.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and Bash/Windows scripting.
• Experience managing MSSQL databases and related operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalable, secure apps.
• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Configure networking including routing, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy for secure user environments.
• Oversee AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs) and Route 53 DNS management.
• Maintain MSSQL databases, backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Configure web hosting with Apache and Nginx for high availability.
• Develop scripts in Bash and Windows for automation tasks.
• Read and troubleshoot code in Python, Java, and JavaScript to support teams.
