Job summary

Singapore Pools (Pte) Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to architect scalable cloud infrastructure and lead DevOps automation across hybrid environments. You will implement GitOps, IaC, and GenAI integrations to reduce manual work and improve uptime.

The role focuses on observability, incident response, and cost optimization, with collaboration across product engineering teams to meet stringent SLAs. A strong software engineering background is required.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related IT discipline; 4–7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, FinOps, AWS/Azure certifications or DevOps credentials are desirable.
• Strong experience building scalable hybrid cloud infrastructures (AWS and Azure) and containerization; knowledge of operational excellence principles.

Responsibilities

• Write code and develop automated, API-based applications, including GenAI integrations, to streamline operational reporting and reduce manual tasks.
• Implement SRE best practices for observability, availability, performance, and incident response; define and govern SLOs and error budgets.
• Participate in on-call rotations; perform postmortems/RCAs and optimize production bottlenecks.
• Enforce infrastructure deployment via IaC code reviews to ensure fault-tolerant applications.
• Maintain DevOps systems; enforce GitOps workflows and integrate automated security/vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create consolidated dashboards by integrating telemetry from monitoring tools and cloud metrics (AWS/Azure).
• Execute disaster recovery, backup, redundancy, and capacity planning with runbooks and documentation.
