Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Specialist/Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing platforms that support our enterprise applications, interfaces, and services.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee Azure IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) administration, including virtual machines, storage, backup, networking components like Application Gateway, Load Balancer, VPN, NSGs, etc.
2. Manage Azure resources tools like Azure Portal, Azure PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
3. Ensure the availability and performance of cloud-based solutions; including but not limited to Virtual network, subnet, and security group setup, troubleshooting connectivity challenges.
4. Manage Azure Active Directory (AD) for user and groups management and Role Based Access Control.
5. Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS issues, troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
6. Good communication and collaboration complement strong technical skills.

Qualifications

1. Experience with Azure IaaS administration.
2. Proficiency in Azure AD administration.
3. Troubleshooting skills for Windows environments.
4. Basic PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks and manage systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications

1. Must have: Azure Administrator (Az-104)
2. Good To have: SC-300, AZ-700, AZ-305
3. Previous experience in an IT systems administrator role.
4. Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell.
