They have an international presence in over 100 countries and are looking for a Cloud Specialistto join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Location: AMK

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Office Hours

Responsibilities:

Analyze tender specifications and client requirements to recommend suitable cloud solutions, and design and implement cloud infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
Deploy cloud environments in UAT and production settings across various platforms including, but not limited to, Azure, AWS, GCP, and Huawei Cloud.
Design and recommend hybrid and multi-cloud solutions that integrate cloud and on-premises infrastructures; perform testing to validate configuration, setup, and connectivity of cloud resources.
Provide recommendations for monitoring tools and practices to ensure cloud resource health, performance, availability, security, and scalability.
Develop architecture artifacts and documentation to clearly present solution designs to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot cloud service issues and offer technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams. Collaborate with network infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration between on-premises and cloud systems.
Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices to enhance product development, system integration, and solution design.
Conduct requirement analysis and prepare project documentation, including detailed configuration guides for implementation.
Prepare and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including creation of test plans and test case documentation.
Perform backup and restore operations, logging, monitoring, and ensure compliance with CIS security best practices in the cloud environment.
Possess familiarity with GCC (Government Commercial Cloud) requirements, setup, and deployment standards.
Knowledge of GovTech SHIP-HATS is a strong advantage.

Bonus if candidate has prior experience in:

Implementation of high availability networking and Nex-Gen firewall
Implementation of high availability servers, OS and clustering for Linux and/or Microsoft Windows
Implementation of storage and backup systems
Implementation of system monitoring and management.
Implementation of a few of following system HA on RDBMS/NoSQL, message queues system, Kubernetes clusters, API management, ESB, webapp servers, SFTP server, proxy/reverse proxy server, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AMQP.
Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP, IAM/IDM system
Network Load Balancing and Global LB system
Implementation of multi-site and/or disaster recovery site.
Backup, restoration and DR switch/fail-over.

Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Demonstrates hands-on experience and solid understanding of cloud computing principles, including service and deployment models, security and compliance, architecture and design, automation, orchestration, as well as cloud migration and integration strategies.
Proficient in a wide range of cloud technologies and tools, including major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as infrastructure management and monitoring tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Skilled in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Node.js, familiar with databases like MySQL and MongoDB, and well-versed in networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, and REST.
Holds relevant industry certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, CompTIA Cloud+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Cloud.
Additional certifications in VMware are considered a strong advantage.

Additional Advantages (Preferred but Not Mandatory):

Experience with system hardening and Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
Practical experience in IaaS or PaaS deployments.
Skilled in system management, including log monitoring, health checks, and workflow implementation.
Knowledge of backup and restoration procedures.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD infrastructure, including tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence, and security testing tools like SAST and DAST.
