Job description

This position is expected to manage a team of Cloud consultants and engineers to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions for clients.. He/she will provide mentorship to review the deliverable quality and ensuring the team can deliver the scope according to the contract.

Strategic Leadership & Cloud Consulting:

• Develop and drive cloud strategy, aligning solutions with business goals and technology trends.
• Lead cloud transformation projects, including migration, optimization, and hybrid cloud adoption.
• Advise clients on cloud best practices, including architecture, security, and cost optimization.
• Identify new business opportunities and support pre-sales efforts with technical expertise.
  
  

Team Leadership & People Management:

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of cloud consultants, engineers, and solution architects.
• Establish performance metrics, conduct regular evaluations, and provide career development plans.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the cloud services team.
  
  

Project & Operations Management:

• Oversee the execution of cloud projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
• Drive automation, DevOps practices, and cloud governance frameworks for operational excellence.
  
  

Reporting & Stakeholder Management:

• Report on cloud adoption progress, financial performance, and key project metrics to leadership.
• Present technical roadmaps, cost-benefit analyses, and strategic recommendations to executives.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT/cloud consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise cloud architecture, networking, and security principles.
• Proven experience in managing cloud migration projects and multi-cloud environments.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
