Job description

Cloud Security Specialist (Junior Level)

• Responsibilities: Maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure platform, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities using security tools like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel. Implement and configure security controls and policies, manage access to data, and monitor threats to ensure that apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected. Implement threat protection and respond to security incident escalations. Manage operations within a cloud solution environment using cloud-native tools like Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center (Microsoft Defender).

• Requirements: A minimum of 2+ years of experience building and maintaining secure cloud solutions. Proven experience with Azure. Deep understanding of networking (e.g., IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, load balancer, DNS). Experience in configuring security policies and securing applications and data. Strong familiarity with Azure products and services such as Azure Active Directory, Privileged Identity Management, VMs, Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Data Services, KeyVault. Familiarity with cloud-native tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Security Center.

• Experience that can be an added advantage: Microsoft Certified: SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
