Job summary

Akkodis Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Services team in Singapore. You will design, implement and maintain cloud-based application security solutions, with emphasis on CWAF and traffic troubleshooting.

The role involves hands-on work with Imperva Cloud WAF and other major platforms to secure customer applications. You will collaborate with solution architects, cloud engineers and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable security services and

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, Application Security or Managed Security Services.
Hands-on experience with CWAF/WAF platforms, preferably Imperva Cloud WAF, and related cloud security concepts.
Strong understanding of networks (TCP/IP), DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS and web app security.
Knowledge of cloud architectures and security incident analysis.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure and manage CWAF solutions, preferably Imperva Cloud WAF.
Configure and maintain security policies to protect web apps from OWASP Top 10 and advanced threats.
Monitor security events, alerts and incidents with remediation guidance.
Onboard, implement and optimize cloud security services for customers.
Analyse end-to-end application traffic and troubleshoot performance/security issues.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to customers and stakeholders.
