CDN & WAF Security Engineer

Job summary

NTT Data Singapore is seeking a seasoned security professional to join its security engineering team. You will leverage cloud and network security expertise to design and implement secure infrastructure, with a focus on HTTP, TLS, VPN, and DNS, across Linux/Windows environments.

The role requires minimum 5+ years of hands-on security experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. Singapore-based, on-site collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, math, engineering, or related field.
• AWS / Google Cloud / Azure certifications are highly regarded.
• Knowledge of CDN, WAF concepts and technologies.
• OWASP security knowledge; CISSP is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with ability to understand complex systems.
• Experience with Cloudflare-like solutions (Magic Transit, WAF Defender, etc.).
• Familiarity with HTTP/IP/DNS concepts and networking basics.
• Unix scripting and web programming knowledge (Perl, PHP, Shell, J2EE, .NET, JSP/ASP).
• Server virtualization and VCS clustering knowledge.
• Strong IT security fundamentals and protocol experience.
• Linux/Windows OS exposure and DevOps tooling familiarity.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
