We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing security incidents, monitoring system health, and performing advanced troubleshooting and configuration within Imperva’s Cloud Application Security platform. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of cloud security and application domains, including customer integration, incident response, and advanced analytics. You will also collaborate closely with internal technical and business teams to provide strategic insights and drive continuous product improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain deep expertise in the Imperva Cloud Application Security platform
  • Deliver proactive support to customers, including system monitoring, configuration, and integration guidance
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor by providing high-quality troubleshooting, investigations, and consultations
  • Collaborate with support, research, development, and product teams to translate insights into actionable product improvements
  • Take full ownership of technical issues and coordinate resolution efforts across cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Technical Support (Tier 2) role.
  • Background in technical support, networking, or IT security
  • Strong understanding of WAN, web applications, and protocols (HTTP/S, SSL, DNS, TCP/IP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; capable of leading customer interactions and calls
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, JSON, REST APIs)
  • Understanding of web application security concepts, including the OWASP Top 10

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
