Job summary

Singapore Airlines Limited is seeking a senior Cloud Platform Architect to lead the design of secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and drive IaC adoption across Terraform and CloudFormation. You will own CI/CD pipelines and mentor a team of cloud engineers, aligning security, compliance, and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration with InfoSec, and continuous improvement of observability using Datadog, Splunk, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or related field.
• At least 4 years hands-on with AWS and infrastructure/platform engineering.
• - Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services (compute, networking, storage, databases).
• - Proven experience leading cloud/DevOps teams and automation.
• - Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible).
• - Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• - Understanding of security, compliance, and cloud audit frameworks.
• - Familiarity with Datadog, Splunk, Cloud Conformity.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Guide IaC development using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, Jenkins and related tools.
• Provide architectural direction, hands-on support, and mentorship to Cloud/DevOps engineers.
• Foster technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
• Work with InfoSec, auditors, and application teams to drive alignment on compliance and delivery practices.
• Drive end-to-end automation and observability across provisioning, patching, monitoring, and alerting.
