Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a cloud operations professional to support deployment, hosting and maintenance of cloud-based applications and web platforms in Singapore.

You will help ensure reliability, security and performance while coordinating with developers and stakeholders. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in a computing field, familiarity with Azure and AWS, experience with REST APIs, version control and Linux/Windows administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of cloud platform fundamentals such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Familiarity with cloud application deployment, hosting and management.
• Understanding of REST API integration and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployment, hosting and operational support of cloud-hosted applications, portals, microsites and digital products.
• Configure, administer and maintain cloud environments to ensure system availability, scalability and performance.
• Support application deployment activities, release management and version control processes.
• Monitor platform health and application performance, investigating and resolving production incidents and service issues.
• Perform software patching, system upgrades, backup and recovery operations.
• Work closely with software developers and stakeholders to enhance platform stability and service delivery.

About the role

This role is responsible for supporting the deployment, hosting, maintenance and operational management of cloud-hosted applications, digital products and web platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring platform reliability, security and performance, while supporting cloud operations, application deployments, production support and continuous service improvement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage deployment, hosting and operational support of cloud-hosted applications, portals, microsites and digital products
• Configure, administer and maintain cloud environments to ensure system availability, scalability and performance
• Support application deployment activities, release management and version control processes
• Monitor platform health and application performance, investigating and resolving production incidents and service issues
• Perform software patching, system upgrades, backup and recovery operations
• Support integration between applications and enterprise systems through REST APIs
• Implement and maintain security controls, user authentication and access management processes
• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure resources, storage and supporting platform services
• Maintain source code repositories, deployment records and platform configuration documentation
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides and operational manuals
• Work closely with software developers and stakeholders to enhance platform stability and service delivery
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide documentation for long-term platform sustainment

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related disciplines
• Knowledge of cloud platform fundamentals such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
• Familiarity with cloud application deployment, hosting and management
• Understanding of REST API integration and basic networking concepts
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux administration
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a production support environment
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Microsoft Azure administration experience
• Exposure to DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of DNS and domain management
• Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Experience with application monitoring and troubleshooting
• Backup and recovery management experience
• Python and/or PowerShell scripting knowledge
• Microsoft Power Platform administration experience
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
• Exposure to Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, DevOps or Platform Engineering environments
