Job summary

PVH in Singapore is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to maintain secure cloud platforms and implement data sharing standards. You will ensure data services meet technical standards, develop new data capabilities, and integrate additional data sources.

You will optimise performance, maintain architecture documents, APIs, runbooks and change records, while leveraging Azure, AWS and Kubernetes expertise in a dynamic aviation-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate holds a diploma or degree in computer engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud platform engineering, systems integration, middleware or aviation systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud, IT security, networking and Red Hat operating systems.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-based data exchange and messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with Pub/Sub, MQTT/AMQP, APIs, Java, Python, Node.js, Terraform, JSON, XML, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and YAML.
• Knowledge of Solace PubSub+ and AWS Inspector is a bonus; Azure/AWS/Red Hat certs are plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain secure cloud platforms including updates, access controls, monitoring and performance optimisation.
• Implement and support WMO WIS 2.0 and SWIM data-sharing standards.
• Ensure data services and pipelines meet required technical standards.
• Develop new data service capabilities and integrate additional data sources.
• Improve platform performance and scalability to support growing infrastructure needs.
• Maintain system architecture documents, API references, runbooks and change records.
