Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee and optimize IT infrastructure, service delivery, and operational efficiency in a Systems Integrator (SI) environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations, managing technical teams, and maintaining high service standards for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall IT operations, including network, servers, cloud services, security, and end-user support.
  • Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance across multiple client environments.
  • Manage IT assets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and implement best practices for IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks.
  • Handle incident, problem, and change management processes efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor IT support, infrastructure, and operations teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversee troubleshooting of complex IT issues.
  • Ensure continuous training and upskilling of the IT team.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures and compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Monitor IT security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection policies.
  • Lead IT projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align IT strategies with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5–8 years of IT operations experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within an SI environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, cloud).
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
  • Experience in managing IT operations for multiple clients in a managed services environment.
