Job summary

SEA Singapore is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to support regional public cloud initiatives across Vietnam, Brazil, Thailand, the Philippines, and China. This role combines hands-on cloud operations with technical project coordination to deliver reliable Kubernetes-based applications.

You will work closely with infrastructure, development, security, and local business teams to ensure clear ownership, progress tracking, and operational readiness, including deployment guides and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in cloud operations, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud).
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

Responsibilities

• Gather technical requirements and coordinate cloud infrastructure and application deployments.
• Track project timelines, dependencies, risks, action items, and delivery status.
• Support GKE provisioning, containerization, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Assist development teams with application onboarding and Kubernetes readiness.
• Coordinate CI/CD, monitoring, logging, artifact registry, and load balancer onboarding.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes, network connectivity, access, deployment, and IAM issues.
• Provide regular progress updates and coordinate technical escalations across teams.
• Maintain deployment guides, operational runbooks, and handover documentation.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition of completed projects to operations teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in cloud operations, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with at least one public cloud platform, such as GCP, AWS, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud.
• Familiarity with tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, IAM, monitoring, and security.
• Strong coordination, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or project management certifications are a plus.
