Job summary

TOPPAN Ecquaria Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced software architect to lead the design and delivery of cloud-native, microservices-based web applications. You will translate client needs into robust architectures using Java, ReactJS and modern frameworks, while coordinating across PMs and Module Leaders.

You will mentor engineers, drive CI/CD, and guide database and deployment strategies for both On-Prem and Cloud environments. Strong communication with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field.
• Experience designing and delivering complex web-based applications using Java, HTML/Javascript, ReactJS.
• Experienced with databases such as Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL.
• Knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Know cloud native architecture with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DDD and API design.

Responsibilities

• Determine and confirm client business expectations and needs.
• Design infrastructure and system architecture to support cloud native solution.
• Convert system requirements into architecture and design documentation.
• Work with Project Manager and customers to manage resources, scope and schedule.
• Interface with Module Leaders to ensure modules progress and integrate smoothly.
• Lead development team to implement the cloud native application.
• Mentor junior technical staff.
• Risk assessment, architecture and database design.
• Set up environments for On-Prem and Cloud Services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and provide code review for maintenance projects.
• End-to-End delivery for development projects and negotiations with customers.
