Job summary

StarHub Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and govern middleware, integration, and platform engineering architectures. You will lead cloud-native, containerized solutions that are scalable, secure, and highly available.

You will collaborate with DevOps, security, and vendors, drive API and microservices governance, and mentor engineering teams while aligning technical decisions with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12+ years in middleware, integration, or platform engineering.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-native architectures for high-volume systems.
• Ability to govern API-led and microservices architectures including lifecycle and security.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain reference architectures, design standards, and patterns for middleware, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Architect cloud-native, containerized services and integration solutions that are scalable, secure, and highly available.
• Govern API lifecycle management, including design guidelines, versioning strategies, traffic management, and consumption models.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and operations teams to ensure observability, automation, and platform readiness for production workloads.
• Provide architectural guidance, conduct design reviews, and mentor engineering teams while engaging stakeholders and vendors as required.
