Job summary

Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board invites an Application Developer Intern to join #TeamCPF in Singapore. You will work in an agile team building cloud-native applications supporting citizen services, with exposure to full-stack development, AWS, testing, and DevOps practices.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, hands-on learning, and opportunities to contribute to critical government functions. Applicants should be pursuing relevant degrees and show enthusiasm for software engineering

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Interest in software engineering, full-stack application development, and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of Java or Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or Angular is advantageous.
• Exposure to software testing concepts and automation frameworks is beneficial.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, testers, and infra colleagues to design and deliver digital solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and support.
• Develop frontend and backend components of cloud-native applications using modern frameworks.
• Build responsive, user-friendly web applications for seamless digital experiences.
• Develop and optimise RESTful APIs and integration services between systems.
• Gain hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices.
